La Diva Choir at Pirates of Penzance

On Friday 10th January, the La Diva Choir took part in an exciting singing and movement workshop with Marin Handley, Musical Director and the lovely cast members of Pirates of Penzance at Chichester Festival Theatre. La Diva learnt some musical items from the production and were shown how the staging was used during the songs.

Later after a pizza dinner, La Diva watched the evening performance of the show.  This was a lovely evening and the group had a good introduction to the world of operetta. Many thanks to Angela Watkins for organising this for us.
