As part of their History studies this term, Year 7 had the opportunity to produce a castle project. This year, students were able to choose from Motte and Bailey, Stone Keep and Concentric Castles to show development and change over time.  The quality of the work was outstanding and varied.  Students put their talents to excellent use producing a wide range of castles using a variety of methods, ranging from beautiful paintings, fantastic models and delicious and detailed cakes.  Technology was preferred by some students whilst others chose Lego or trusty paper mache, loo-rolls and cereal boxes. It was a wonderful showcase of the current Year 7s skills and knowledge and many of the projects are on display at the top of the H Block stairs, thanks to the hard work of Miss Sutton.
