On Thursday 8th February Year 7 and 8 students had a visit from popular author Stewart Foster. Stewart has published several books for young people to inspire empathy and kindness.

Stewart draws his inspiration from his best friend who has OCD who he has based his character named Alex on in the book All the Things That Could Go Wrong. Stewart shared his writing process and answered questions from students about his writing journey and what inspires him. Students then had an opportunity to have their books signed by the author. Thank you to Portsmouth Schools Library Service and Hayling Island books for supplying copies of Stewart’s books.
