Travel Arrangements

As part of our planning for the safe return to school for our students, we are writing to update you on the latest information from our local travel providers.

Safe travel guidance

Where possible we encourage students to walk or cycle to school. The Government is keen that schools make it as easy as possible for students to cycle in, which is why we have expanded the number of cycle racks available. Our local council shares the same aim, and there are currently extra cycle lanes available across the city.

If your child needs to use public transport to travel to school, then they will be asked to follow the transport guidelines, which include wearing a face covering when on buses, coaches or trains and when they are inside stations.
